Based on the select-fire Bren 2, this handy rifle operates via a short-stroke gas piston system with a return spring contained within the action itself.
A true lightweight, the Bren 2 has an aluminum upper and a lower made of carbon fiber composite.
The ‘Ms’ designation means that it employs a modular forend that can be swapped to different lengths or styles based on user preference/need.
Its non-reciprocating charging handle stays stowed in the forward position until it is needed and is swappable from side to side.
An AR-style bolt catch/release system is mirrored on both sides of the firearm, as well as a catch/release nestled into the front of the trigger guard.
The magazine release and safety are also ambidextrous.

CZ Bren 2MS pistol converted to carbine, the 14.1" barrel has been extended to 16" using a VG6 Epsilon brake (one of the most effective brakes on the market), pinned & welded, bayonet lug disabled.
A M4 CAR style buttstock has been added to a commercial buffer tube, then also pinned, per MA requirements (length of pull can be adjusted with tools), can be swapped for whatever stock you prefer.
I actually prefer this converted pistol configuration to the CZ Carbine as the Carbine stock does not allow easy removal for cleaning when "Massified" and the AR buffer tube configuration allows the use of any AR buttstock. Also the barrel length is kept to the 16" minimum, which would be at least 18" once a brake is permanently pinned to the carbine's 16" barrel.
Very nice handling gun with lots of cool features an AR does not have. Also takes your pre-ban AR mags!
Comes with one 10 rd mag, CZ cleaning kit and very nice backup iron sights.
