An AMD-65 Hungarian kit built in-house on a Southern Armament receiver.
Designed as a paratrooper, mechanized infantry, and specialist rifle; this was envisioned as an improved and lightened AK-47. In those units it was loved and welcomed. Then in 1969 it was adopted as the primary service rifle for Hungary, and it’s popularity waned a bit as it was used outside it’s design intent.
Comes with a folding wire stock.
Pinned TAPCO USA Muzzle device to bring the rifle up to non-SBR Length.
